Day 37 - 38 of FRC 2013 Build
February 12, 2013
Tuesday
The main electronic components of the robot has been installed in their final location including the CRio, Power Distributor, Digital Sidecar, and Router. All of the speed controllers and relays are also installed in their final positions. The electrical team then worked on organization of the wires.
The climbing team completed their alternate climbing system on Day 37 and troubleshooted the system separately from the final robot on Day 38.
The windows motor mount for the elevation mechanism of the shooter-hopper system was installed in Day 38. The windows motor was tested on Day 38, and the windows motor will be able to rotate the shooter-hopper throughout the match and into the climbing position at the end of the match. Integration of the shooter-hopper is complete and troubleshooting for the shooter-hopper begins on Day 40.

Day 35
Day 35 of FRC 2013 Build
Saturday
February 9, 2013
The main electronics components and the speed controllers/spike relays have been installed into the robot.
Cross supports for the inner/outer superstructure has been manufactured and installed. Victor speed controller fans will be used to prevent the electronics from overheating. 2 pairs of
The drivetrain have been tested and is working properly. The program and electronics are correct for the drivetrain. The troubleshooting/testing of the drivetrain is now complete.

Day 34
Day 34 of FRC2013 Build
Friday
February 8, 2013
The team completed the outer superstructure of the robot. The superstructure frame is now complete. Between the inner and outer superstructure will be the speed controllers and spike relays. An access panel on the outer superstructure will provide both protection and access to the electronics for maintenance.
A new climbing system is now required for the robot. After testing of our original level 1 climber, the decision was made by the team to create a new level 1 climber using pneumatics.

Day 30
Day 30 of FRC 2013 Build
Monday
February 4, 2013
Team is currently behind schedule. We are working to meet a new build-finish deadline of Wednesday, Day 32, 5 February 2013.
The vertical components for the superstructure is currently in place for the robot. The horizontal components will be installed in Day 31. Other components of the superstructure will be installed in day 31.
The shooter-hopper will be finished by the end of day 31. Many of the components/mechanisms are already established. All that is left is the elevation mechanism for the shooter-hopper.
The climbing system will be installed around day 31 or 32. It is essentially part of the superstructure of the robot.
Without a doubt, the robot will be completed before the end of week 5. We still plan to have time to troubleshoot and practice with the new robot over the course of the next 2 weeks.
